March 2017: Wash with Water & Friends in Charleston, SC

Wash with Water & Friends (formerly Southern Select) hosted it’s inaugural pop-up event at the Cigar Factory in downtown Charleston, SC on March 10th and 11th.

Over 20 indie makers and small shops, unified by a passion and love for well-made, quality products, came together from all over the country to participate in the event.

New retail shop Hausful (top) popped up, showcasing their beautiful selection of modern, well-made Scandinavian home goods.  WwW & Friends founder Stephanie of Wash with Water was on hand to chat with mamas old and new about their family skincare needs.

Shop BURU stopped by as part of her intercontinental pop-up roadtrip. Founded by mama Morgan Hutchinson, BURU is fashion for modern mamas – machine washable, nursing friendly styles perfect for every phase of motherhood.

Riley Kinnane-Petersen, the 7 years old kidpreneur and creative genius behind father-daughter jewelry collection Little Lux (which can be found here: Gunner & Lux, who counts some of the country’s most prestigious retailers (think Barney’s NY) as her customers, hosted two workshops for the kids of Charleston!

Riley helped kids create their very own one-of-a kind necklace, coloring sheet and their very own swag bag to take home!

Beautifully handcrafted imaginative wear from Opposite of Far  (top) was a crowd favorite. Both days little ones were parading around the Cigar Factory decked out in ears, tails, as well as crowns, capes, and helmets from Lovelane Designs.

We also had family activities and entertainment for little ones, coordinated by Sarah of Punch Bug Kids.

Big thank you to Sirena of Aneris Photo who photographed the event, and videographer Sally Watts who put together a short video (including wonderful interviews with a few of the brand owners.)
